The horse's pedigree must be 7/8ths pure QH breeding to be eligible for AQHA registration. Sue Temperton can do further research and the horse will be accepted if earlier generations look okay. Fill out the AQHA registration application and send this along with a copy of your horse's AQHA-NZ registration papers, and a pedigree tracing back to the closest AQHA parentage or at least 5 generations. - if both your horse's parents are USA registered you don't need to send the pedigree - if a 5 generation pedigree is needed send $25 and the details required to the office, the request will be sent on to Sue Temperton who completes the official extended pedigree as accepted by the USA office. The international registration fee is $25 (USD) for members of AQHA, $65 (USD) for non-members (the $65 fee includes a 12 mth membership).
