a Quarter Horse registered with AQHA-NZ, you have the chance to
gain a variety of awards:

points gained at the annual National show
- Lifetime awards - using all points gained in a lifetime
Lifetime Awards
The most prestigious of all AQHA-NZ awards is the Honour Roll,
awarded to any registered Quarter Horse and/or individual that has
made an outstanding contribution to the Quarter Horse and the Quarter
Horse industry in New Zealand. This award cannot be achieved simply
by earning show points, it is awarded at the discretion of the AQHA-NZ
Council.
Next, the Award of Excellence is achieved by outstanding
performers that have amassed 1,000 performance points and a Superior
Halter award. This is a horse award only and the owner must be a
current financial member.
