Introduction to the Amateur Division
The purpose of having an Amateur Division is to promote the Quarter
Horse, to provide training, team building and opportunities for
the members. As well, to get more out of the AQHA-NZ and AQHA than
in the past.
The Amateur Division will be of benefit to ALL amateurs members,
of all levels, showing or not. In the past this portfolio has been
neglected. It is my intention to form a committee so the portfolio
is not left to one person to do all the work.
AQHA-NZ's membership is approximately 60% amateurs and I feel it
is time these members got more from the Association.
The Amateur Division will look after their members interests. We
will provide training clinics throughout New Zealand as well as
the Amateur Trans Tasman Challenge.
If you think you can help then let me know.
